Rich Kinney
Founder & Director
Rich has served as a minister and community leader in the San Francisco East Bay since 1979. He holds a B.A. in Vocal Pedagogy and spent years in business before answering a full-time call to ministry in 1994. He pastored a church in San Pablo for 14 years, served as a police chaplain and two-time mayor, and in 2021 founded The Paraclete House, a sober-living and reentry program for men. He's completing his first book, God Is in His Holy Temple: Activating Your Divine Genome, on living from the inside out through the power of God's presence.
Basil Hicks
Co-Founder & Vice President
Basil Neil Hicks is of Samoan descent and hails from Fiji. Married to Kasanita, with three sons and seven grandchildren, he trained as a dive master and welder before pastoring a church in Fiji and later coordinating Evangelism Explosion across the mid-Pacific Islands. He and his wife now serve on a reservation in northern California as missionaries to Native Americans.
Shyam Patel
Board Member
Shyam brings 26+ years in corporate and academic project management, business development, and marketing education, alongside a Bachelor of Theology and a life of local-church service in Mumbai — as youth advisor, choir director, and worship leader. A songwriter and worship recording artist, he serves with his wife Vineeta and son Johanen, who leads keyboards in the church choir.
